For Joel Cocote Pinel Fereol, studying the Executive MBA at EAE Barcelona has been an experience defined by flexibility, practical learning, and ongoing support throughout his studies. In his case, he particularly highlights the programme’s ability to adapt to the needs of students who are working while also living outside Spain.

“The flexibility EAE offers in handling administrative and academic processes is a real advantage for students who work and live outside Spain.”

Flexibility to combine studies and professional life

One of the aspects Joel values most about the Executive MBA is the flexibility he has found in both administrative processes and the academic environment.

For a student balancing his studies with professional responsibilities while living outside Spain, this level of flexibility has been an important part of the experience. As he explains, the way the programme is organised has allowed him to pursue it in a way that fits around his personal and professional circumstances.

“Flexibility is a real advantage for students who work and live outside Spain.”

This aspect is particularly important in a programme designed for working professionals, for whom balancing their studies with other responsibilities is part of everyday life.

Case studies and group work

Joel also highlights the programme content, particularly the methodology based on analysing real-world case studies.

Working on practical scenarios as a group has allowed him to approach the content from a shared perspective, creating opportunities for reflection and exchange with his classmates.

“The case-based learning approach, with specific cases studied in groups, creates intellectual stimulation and fosters a strong sense of camaraderie among students.”

For Joel, this dynamic not only supports academic learning but also helps build connections within the group. The exchange of perspectives among students is therefore an integral part of the Executive MBA experience, adding a collaborative dimension to the learning process.

Support from faculty and the academic team

Another aspect Joel highlights is the availability of the faculty and academic department. Knowing that he can turn to them whenever he needs guidance has, in his experience, helped create a stronger sense of support throughout the programme.

“The availability of the faculty and academic department allows every student to feel supported throughout their learning journey.”

This support complements the work carried out in the classroom and through group activities, and is one of the aspects he values positively about his experience.

An education focused on future career development

Joel also sees his experience on the Executive MBA as closely linked to his future career development. In his view, EAE’s recognition within both academic and business circles can help ensure that the knowledge and skills gained throughout the programme have a meaningful impact on his future professional path.

“EAE’s reputation in global academia and the business world is an asset that allows students to envision a future in which the skills they acquire during their studies will be put to good use.”

His experience therefore combines a practical approach to learning with a clear focus on future professional development.

Overall, Joel particularly values the programme’s flexibility, case-based learning, interaction among students, and the support he received. His overall impression is of a school that strives to evolve in response to the changing needs of its environment.

“EAE is a school that continues to adapt to the needs of both today’s world and the future.”

["post-360","historia","type-historia","status-publish","hentry
["GET
