Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management

I’m pleased to share an achievement that marks a significant milestone in my academic and professional development: the successful defense of my Master’s Final Project (TFM), which marked the completion of my Master’s in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, specializing in Project Management & Agile Scrum, at EAE Business School Barcelona.

Making the decision to move to Barcelona to pursue this master’s degree represented far more than just professional growth. It was a transformative experience that allowed me to grow on a personal level, discover new cultures, expand my international network, and gain knowledge that I hope to continue applying to initiatives aimed at strengthening Panama’s position as a logistics hub for the Americas. This experience also helped me strengthen my ability to adapt, turn challenges into opportunities for growth, and develop a broader, more enriching perspective on the challenges and opportunities that arise both professionally and personally.

My experience as an international student was filled with moments I will always remember. One of the most memorable was attending the Princess of Girona Awards, an event that brings together and recognizes outstanding young people for their talent, leadership, and ability to make a positive impact on society. It was especially inspiring to be part of a ceremony held under the honorary presidency of Leonor de Borbón, Princess of Asturias and Girona, and presided over by the King and Queen of Spain, making it a truly unique and unforgettable experience.

I also had the opportunity to take part in the Cursa de les Dones (Women’s Race), an initiative that raises awareness about breast cancer prevention, promotes healthy lifestyles, and supports the fight against gender-based violence and social and educational inequalities. It was a truly rewarding experience to support this cause alongside so many committed women.

Another highlight was visiting Mercadona’s logistics center in Abrera, where students from different master’s programs had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the company’s organizational culture, the excellence of its processes, the importance it places on its people, and the end-to-end operations of a large-scale logistics facility.

I also greatly value the networking activities organized by EAE Business School, such as EAE Volley Day at Club Natació Barcelona and the EAE Emprende Kick-Off Party. These events gave me the opportunity to connect with professionals from a wide range of nationalities, building relationships and friendships that I am sure will last for years to come.

I would like to thank everyone who was part of this journey: professors, classmates, friends, and family who supported and encouraged me throughout this experience.

I close this chapter with gratitude, pride, and excitement for the new challenges ahead.
